Quantum Mechanics Course Information
Main Text: Griffiths, Introduction to Quantum Mechanics,
Prentice-Hall, 1995.
Reference Text: You will need a good set of Math Tables,
such as CRC Standard Mathematical Tables.
You will probably also need to frequently consult a
mathematical methods in physics book, such as:
Mary Boas, Mathematical Methods in the Physical Sciences,
and/or
George Arfken, Mathematical Methods for Physicists,
Part 1: Chapters 1-5 for Fall of 95.
READING PROBLEMS
Chapter 1 1.1, 1.6, 1.7, 1.8, 1.9, 1.12, 1.14
